Getting Here
Parking
Pay parking is in effect 9am — 10pm everyday. 10 parking stalls are located adjacent to Kids Market on Cartwright Street, with additional parking throughout nearby streets.
Bus
The #50 False Creek bus comes from Gastown/Downtown, drives along Granville Street, and makes regularly scheduled stops just off Granville Island at the intersection of Anderson Street & West 2nd Avenue.
Bicycle
Several access points connect to Granville Island. To plan your route, refer to the City of Vancouver’s Cycling Map. Granville Island also has Mobi Bikeshare stations, near the intersection of Old Bridge & Cartwright Streets, and Anderson Street & 2nd Ave. Bicycle racks are provided at our main entrance on Cartwright Street.
Taxi & Uber
Taxi companies and Uber drivers service Granville Island. Tell your driver to bring you to the main entrance at 1496 Cartwright Street.
Boat
Inexpensive and fun, the Aquabus and False Creek Ferries provide short rides across the False Creek Inlet, from the downtown side (north) to the Granville Island side (south). A free public dock behind the Public Market also allows 3-hour moorage.

Guest Services
ATM
Kids Market has a CIBC cash machine located outdoors on the ground level at the Anderson Street entrance, next to the Granville Island Licorice Parlour.
Free Wifi
Kids Market offers FREE public wifi as a courtesy to guests. To access it, enable wifi on your device and connect to “RogersGuest” to enjoy up to 5GB of complimentary data.
Postal Outlet
Granville Island Stamps Plus offers a full-service Canada Post office — perfect for mailing post cards or gifts to friends and family, as well as posting larger items home.
Gift Wrapping
A few stores will gift-wrap your purchases for you. Just ask upon entering each store or check individual store websites.
Strollers
Strollers may be rented for $5 per day from our third-floor Administration Office. Government-issued ID and a credit card is required, but administration only accepts cash payments for the rental.
Wheelchairs
Kids Market has a wheelchair available, free to borrow, from our Administration Office. Government issued ID and a credit card is required as collateral while you borrow the wheelchair. Granville Island Admin also has two wheelchairs available.
Accessibility
Kids Market is fully wheelchair accessible with an elevator to reach the second floor, where there is a wheelchair-accessible washroom.

24 hour security for all of Granville Island is provided by Paladin Security.

Rules
Pets
Certified service animals are welcome anywhere on Granville Island, including within Kids Market. Otherwise, pets are not permitted indoors at Kids Market except in the Pet Treatery.
No Smoking
Smoking and vaping are not permitted indoors nor within 6-metres around entrances, windows, and air intakes, as per City of Vancouver bylaws.
Harassment
Kids Market has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, and unsafe or abusive behaviour.
Bicycles, etc.
Use of bicycles, skateboards, and scooters (except mobility scooters) are prohibited indoors. Please use the provided bicycle racks outside.
